Bruce Coe

Bruce Coe has been politically active for many years.  An initial opponent of the Growth Management Act, he participated in various committees throughout the GMA adoption years, and participated in the YRBWEP (Yakima River Basin Watershed Enhancement Planning) process.  He was appointed as a County Commissioner in Kittitas County, filling the rather large shoes of now 13th district Representative Bill Hinkle, and was elected to the district 2 commissioner's position a year later.  Luckily for his sanity, his conservatively plain spoken and honest approach to politics lost him his next election.  He has remained active mainly in water, private property and governance issues since then.  Bruce is the owner of Hidden Valley Ranch, past owner and operator of Hidden Valley Guest Ranch with his wife, Kim.  Bruce's oldest son, James has enlisted the Marine Corps, and his Daughter Hannah works in the home health care industry.
